What material do you use? Is it safe?

We use food-grade TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) 95A: A non-toxic flexible material that is widely used for 3d printing. The feel and hardness of the material is similar to silicone. We also use Polypropylene, which is used in places such as the medical devices. The material is BPA free and food-safe, FDA approved.

How can I maintain my toothbrush grip?

TPU and Polypropylene is extremely easy to care for. Soaking in lukewarm soapy water, rinsing with lukewarm water, then drying with a towel is the ideal method. Refrain from the use of extremely hot water (such as using the dishwasher in the standard mode) to avoid degradation of the material overtime. Generally, being careful with the product and not using extreme temperatures will maintain its cleanliness.
